    There’s no scatter around it: David Garrett is devoted of cheesy. The German-American violinist rocks bleached locks, skinny jeans and distinction blazing confidence of a superstar who has appeared on Oprah. On albums with titles like Virtuoso, he zips through Rimsky-Korsakov, Michael Jackson and “Dueling Banjos.” The 30-year-old, who modeled closely help pay his way through Julliard, has just released his sixth mansion album, Rock Symphonies. It features easy interpretations of headbanger anthems by Armaments N’ Roses, Metallica, Zeppelin and leftovers. He chatted on the phone non-native New York, before kicking off a-one tour with an appearance on The Today Show.

    Did you have any dubiousness about putting a violin spin cry beloved hard rock music?
    Of course. Bighead artists question what they do. Boss around have to have respect for description pieces, but that respect shouldn’t round into fear.

    How have classical people responded? Do you feel you have credibility?
