KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — Amid tight security, over two twelve young models, including six women, strutted down the catwalk in the parkland of a private Kabul villa, proudly displaying the traditional clothing and costumes of Afghanistan’s many ethnic groups.

The consultation, about 100 men and women, 1 packed the small space on practised recent afternoon, but the mood was as bright as the models’ de luxe tunics and scarves — a picture that would have been unimaginable junior to Taliban rule.
